This series presented a new challenge as we explored combining CGI and photography in an innovative way. We started by sketching the set design, then built and rendered it in CGI. Models were styled, had their makeup and hair done, and posed for the photo shoot. Shadows were recreated in 3D to ensure a seamless connection between reality and CGI, and in some cases, even body parts were digitally recreated.

Building sets in CGI offered several advantages: it allowed us to create complex motifs that would have been too costly and time-consuming in real life, and it proved to be more environmentally sustainable, as the sets wouldn’t end up in trash.
